Beard balm, oil, or wax the differences???
A common question asked by many is what is the difference between beard oil, balm or wax, of course, they are all great products to use, but each has a unique quality that sets it apart from the others.
Let’s start on beard oil, this is great for nourishing the skin, and keeping it in top condition by moisturising and also encouraging more growth, oil also relieves itchiness which affects many new to the scene. Our oils are carefully selected to give you the smoothest products and the finest of scents, to complement and invigorate your well-earned look.
Beard wax generally does the same job as a balm, as in thickening and gap filling but is thicker, this is generally used for shaping your beard or moustache into showpiece style or if you are having a particularly unruly day and your pride and joy just won’t behave… wax it.
Let’s get on to beard balm. Balm, other than smells great, is used mainly as a tamer, thicker in texture than the oil and left to melt in your hand for application purpose. Beard balm is ideal for filling those gaps and overall giving more volume and depth. Beards & Baldies balms are again carefully chosen to fulfil all your needs in grooming care and are a great addition to give your personal experience the final finishing touches.
So to recap, relieve the itches and moisturise… go for oil.
Fill the gaps and thicken up… go for balm.
Or why not go for both, this way you are giving your beard the Rolls Royce treatment every day.
